What is an Information Technology Officer?

The IT Officer has to ensure that all information, whether it is stored electronically or physically, is protected from unauthorized access, damage, and theft. Education Required
You need a bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or other related fields such as engineering or mathematics.
Experience Required
Although experience isn’t usually a requirement, most employers prefer candidates that have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position within an organization or even better yet in an IT department of a company.
